Expert in public policy and open source and network systems
An expert in collaboration and public policy David Eaves work with two spin-offs of the Harvard Negotiation Project, and serves as a fellow at the Centre for the Study of Democracy at Queen's University.
David is an advisor on Open Data, Transparency and Open Government to the Mayor of Vancouver. He has also written a chapter for Tim O'Reilly's upcoming book on Government as Platform and writes and speaks on these issues frequently. He was a key architect of the Open Motion recently passed by the City of
Vancouver that makes available city data and information to the public in open standards that can be repurposed to help enhance public services, debates and democratic engagement.
