British journalist who contributed to exposing the
UK Parliamentary expenses scandal
Ben Leapman is a British journalist. He has been at The Sunday Telegraph (
London,
UK) since 2006, currently as Deputy News Editor and previously as Home Affairs Correspondent covering homeland security and criminal justice. From 1996 to 2006 he worked at the Evening Standard (
London,
UK), chiefly as a Political Reporter based at Parliament. He studied at King's College,
Cambridge, where he obtained an MA (Hons) in Natural Sciences.
